Conference delegates registering before August 15, 2020 may have their registration refunded prior to the conference commencing. All requests for refunds after that date will be reviewed on a case by case basis to determine timing of the refund

You do not need to be a current law enforcement professional (including reserve and seasonal officers) to attend the conference. You can be a retired officer, or someone who by training, experience, or other professional affiliations actively promotes and supports women in law enforcement. You can also sell products or provide services related to law enforcement. If you have any questions about attending, please contact us.
No. But if you become a member, you will be entitled to a member discount.
If you are a uniformed officer, we would like you to wear your dress uniform as we have a Parade of Nations where delegates march in downtown Yogyakarta on September 2020.
Conference Shuttle • Every hour on the hour – 9am – 8pm (Friday, August 24 & Saturday) • First come first serve basis (limited seats) • Look for the IAWP booths near the arrivals luggage carousels Allied Airport Shuttle (for Royal Ambarukmo Hotel) • $14 from the airport to the hotel, $10 back to the airport (must pre-book return shuttle) • Counter located between doors 4 and 5 on the Arrivals Level • Leaves every half hour – 8am – Midnight –Daily • Need to mention you are part of the IAWP Conference Taxi (approximately $40 – $50 to Royal Ambarukmo Hotel) • Can accommodate up to 4 passengers • Vans also available for larger groups During the Conference
The registration desk is located on the ground floor of the Royal Ambarukmo Hotel. Please direct any questions you may have regarding registration, session attendance or other elements of the conference to the staff at this desk. The registration desk will be open at the following times: • Saturday 5 Sept 2010 – 1600 to 2100 • Sunday 6 Sept 2020 – 0800 to 1600 • Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 Sept – 7:30am to 8:30am
All conference delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and accompanying persons are obliged to wear the Official Conference Accreditation at the conference and associated activities. This must be worn at all times within the conference venue.
In the lead-up to the Conference small updates will be made to the program. See the latest version on the website. Any changes to the Conference program during the Conference will be announced during housekeeping notices each morning and updated on the conference app.
Delegates are not permitted to use any type of camera or recording device at any of the sessions unless written permission has been obtained from the relevant speaker. A professional photographer will be at the conference, if you have any issues with being photographed please notify the conference organizers.
Includes all conference sessions and social events, certificate, refreshment and lunch during conference session.
You must advise the conference organizers of any special dietary requirements when you register for the Conference. Caterers at each function will be informed of these. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask staff at the registration desk. IMPORTANT– If your dietary request relates to a life threatening allergy, please ensure that you advise the secretariat as soon as possible.
Countries included for reduced membership fees are all countries except those classified by the World Bank as “high income.” Developing countries are defined according to their Gross National Income (GNI) per capita per year. There are no early bird registrations for Developing Countries or IAWP Board of Directors as the rates provided are already at the reduced rate. If you are unsure whether your country is classified as a Developing Country please refer to the World Bank web page ( for further information.
After registering for the Conference you would have been emailed a Registration Confirmation which lists all social functions for which you are registered. If you require another copy please email Tickets to the Welcome Reception, IAWP Awards Lunch, and Gala Event are included in each full registration. Additional tickets for social functions can be purchased in advance online form and at the registration desk (subject to availability).
We welcome all conference delegates to participate in the parade. If you are a sworn officer please wear your dress uniform, tunic, uniform or if you are a civilian please wear business attire.

By registering for the Conference, participants agree that IAWP, Indonesian National Police Service the Organizing Committee or the Conference secretariat do not assume any responsibility for injuries to persons or damage to property during the Conference. Participants are advised to take out their own health, travel and personal insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered.
